''Looney Tunes: Space Race'' is a 2000 kart-racing video game developed by Infogrames, Inc. It was originally announced as a Nintendo 64 game in 1998,〔http://www.ign.com/articles/1998/03/18/first-n64-looney-tunes-game-uncovered〕 but was later moved to the Dreamcast.〔http://www.ign.com/articles/1999/08/07/out-of-the-space-race〕 It was ported to PlayStation 2 in 2002 (under the name "Space Race") with a new tournament mode. The game was not an immediate success among critics, but the general Consumer Reception was good.
